Channel Manager

Job Summary

Alkira is growing! We are looking for channel sales professionals who win, maintain, and expand relationships with channel partners including CSPs, SIs, master agencies, consultancies, SPs, and MSPs. The Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales targets and partner recruitment objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of channel sales, preferably in a SaaS business environment
  • Robust understanding of the cloud, networking, and security ecosystem.
  • Strong passion for sales and creating long-lasting professional relationships.
  • Tested ability to follow sales processes while utilizing dedicated sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience selling to and working with C-Level and top line management to understand business strategy and objectives
  • BA/BS Degree Required
